"SEO is dead". If you've read this empty hook too many times, I'm with you.
Because it's not. But put simply:
Static content is out. Interactive solutions are in.
This change is important.
And here's how to think through it.
SEO has moved on beyond just written posts
โณ Itโs about creating tools that help users solve real problems
From 'how-to do X' posts to 'here's a tool to do X'
These tools engage users and provide value right away.
โ Think of calculators, quizzes, templates, and libraries
Focus on what users truly want
High-intent keywords can be a starting point
โณ But donโt just chase high search volumes
Look for insights from customer calls, support tickets, and reviews.
โ Use ChatGPT to mine Gong, Clari, G2, and Intercom.
โณ If โfinancial forecasting softwareโ is a hot topic, act on it
Build a financial calculator or a budget planner
These tools guide users and keep users coming back
They offer a hands-on experience that drives action.
โ Use custom GPTs, Softr, StackBlitz, or Bubble to spin them off quickly.

SEO is not dead.
But if you're just writing blog posts, your organic growth might soon be.
Enter use-case-led SEO.
โ Build interactive free products
โ Work back from combined SEO and PMM data
โ Use soft/hard-gating to nurture traffic
PS. I've written a guide on the topic with SEO master Kevin Indig.
