Use-case-led SEO in action
How the Common Room team and I shipped 600+ pSEO pages in <2 weeks with AirOps
I've been spending ~2 weeks with the Common Room team working on shipping 600+ pSEO pages with AirOps. Here's how we did it ↓↓↓
BACKGROUND
Recently, Common Room shipped Roomie AI — an AI agent that automatically generate account plans for SDRS and AEs.
HYPOTHESIS
Kevin White asked me: "How can we use Roomie AI to generate an MVP of an account plan and use it as a PLG funnel for long-tail SEO?"
Me: "We can do it with AirOps!"
OUR RATIONALE
As Kevin Indig and I wrote in a recent HyperGrowth Partners article on use-case-led SEO:
"With use-case-led SEO, your content doesn’t just directly solve your audience problem, but it does so in a bespoke, interactive, and branded way. By investing in building these specialized tools, you create a competitive moat that not only sets your brand differentiation apart but also sustains long-term growth."
__
And, as Kevin White put it: "Unlike most AI SEO plays I’ve seen, this one goes beyond a vanity metric of traffic just for the sake of traffic."
In fact, (we believe) this play has:
→ SEO volume + value: It targets long-tail keywords searched by the ICP
→ Product marketing value: It aligns with the value prop and solves a real need of the ICP
→ PLG value: It creates a targeted entry point into the product with a compelling CTA
→ Brand value: It creates a branded resource that your ICP (could) remember you for
*OUR* EXECUTION
This is how we did it (there are probs 20 different ways of doing this):
1) Extracted Roomie AI account data for the Cloud 100 companies (most searched by ICP) [few mins]
2) Created landing pages [1 week]:
→ Home page: to browse account research plans
→ Summary page: to give key info about the account
→ Detail page: to give more details on a section of the account
(eg. product, funding, competition, hiring, earning calls, etc.)

3) Created an AirOps workflow to [1 week]:
→ Expand and format Roomie AI's output into markdown snippets
→ Push that into a Notion table
→ Push from Notion to Sanity CMS into the landing pages
RESULTS (?)
→ Check the account research plan here
Watch this space and we'll share the results in a month or so!

Super fun when clients give you the agency and resources to work on cool projects.
Special thanks to Kevin White, Josh Lind, (and Juan Aparicio, and Berna Gonzalez from AirOps) for making this happen!
Nice ! YouTube tutorial on the way?
Very cool. Keep us posted on the results!
